MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 both run on macOS, and the reason to install one is the workspace. Charts, timeframes and indicators are saved together and restored on the next launch, which turns a setup built once into something that is simply there every time the machine is opened.

Because the same account is behind both, the decision can be revisited at any time. A session opened in a browser during the local late-morning European hours can be continued in the desktop terminal afterwards, and a Mac that is replaced or reinstalled does not take anything essential with it.

- Open the Exness Terminal in your browser, or download MetaTrader 5 for macOS.
- Log in with your Exness account.
